C/2023 P1 (Nishimura) 2023-Aug-23 Ludovic Prebet

Beginning of the observation around 4:15 a.m. LT (And 24°C) It is still quite low on the horizon. (I observe almost lying ...). Surprise: It descends terribly quickly, and will leave the Gems. , which cancels the gain of the later daybreak!...
A 1/2 H after it comes out of the mist, and becomes very visible.
The gain with the 18" is not really conclusive, and especially does not let me appear a tail!... By using the 13 mm (X160) and "Comet Filter". three zones become distinct. A fairly punctual center - A well-defined "head", slightly off-center, and a more diffused area around it.
Its diameter can be compared to nearby double stars and I estimate it to be +/- 2' at 2'20, ie comparable to estimates from previous days.
Its magnitude, I bring it closer to HD 61971 m=8.9. which would mean that it shines progressively more since my three readings, respectively from m=9.6. to => m=9.3 , then => m= 8.9...(Taking into account that my errors are constant!.. )
Stop around 5:30 where it is still quite visible with "Comet Filter".
