The Emergence Of The "Half-Moon" Coma After The Outburst of Comet 29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann
A major outburst (2 magnitude) occurred on January 17, 2024. The new coma after the outburst of Centaur Comet 29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann is beginning to show its usual asymmetric appearance resulting from the cryo-volcano activity. This year the activity of 29P has been among the largest and most frequent yet observed. iTelescope T72 January 18 was missed due to equipment (observatory) issues.
