237P/LINEAR 2023-Jul-17 Dan Bartlett

Windy this morning, with rooftop measurements having gusts over 30 mph. I had worries the 50lb scope would topple since the payload capacity of the mount is slated for 55lbs. Luckily, the setup was upright when I shut down the rig during brightening twilight. I was able to salvage only 11 frames with decent star shapes and an additional 16 frames for the comet image out of 62 x 180 seconds taken. Clouds prohibited my start time until after 01:00. Never the less here is Comet 237P (LINEAR) in a Messy Part of the Sky - Aquila - 2023-07-17
