A.L.P.O. Solar Report Forms
A.L.P.O. provides observers with Forms, Guides and Manuals to help and assist them in their Solar observations. The forms on this page can be used to document your observing sessions of the Whole Sun, or to document specific events or activities you observed by zooming in on specific areas of the Sun. These areas could be Sun Spots, or Active Regions in general, which could be observed in White Light or a specific wavelength of light. The forms can be downloaded in pdf form by right clicking the thumbnail in front of the description In addition a Guide is provided to describe to the observer the meaning of certain fields on the Forms. Whole Disk Form

Observers can use this form to document their observations in detail of the entire disk of the Sun. Right click the thumbnail of the form to download the form for off line use. The form contains areas to draw your observations and also contains the fields which need to be completed to convey the information that was observed during the session. It is important to complete all fields, so researchers using the reports have detailed knowledge of the activity at the Sun at the time.
